The second book in this series that I have. Its again written by R.A Montgomery and illustrated by Paul Granger (who really likes his men to hae ridiculous lookin big chins.)
The cover picture of me, the big chinned hero waving to an unseen audience. Theres a space ship flying over my heed and a wee ship flying into a black hole. - Braw stuff.
Okay, onto reference one for the plot.
Because I'm on a space ship I reach the age of 18 in 3 days and two hours - why do I stop there? One would presume space travel would kill everyone within a fortnight - hmm.
Anyway Ive to choose my galaxy of birth , I've decided Phonon is a nice name for a planet, so here goes.

Theers an uncharted nebula ahead ( I don't know what a nebula is - nae kidding, and the books nae bloody use)
I keep going, 'amazed by the sights about me'
The descriptions are vivid.
I radio for help.....

No one finds me but I am drawn to a space station which offers to take me to Axle. (The way space stations do)
I decide Axle sounds a wee bit scary and decide to head to my chosen home.
On my way I find myself in the midst of an eleven ship fight. I hae the choice of not joining them - which I am informed (on the same reference) that I die, or to join them - so I suppose I better.
The illustration on page 63 is tremendous fun - my chin honestly couldnae be any more freakish.
