Im needing to get back to playing my gamebooks.
In the past I've done a 'play the books in order' marathon and also a 'Play the books in order (and complete them)' marathon (which I didn't quite finish...)
Anyway, for a wee change I'm going to do-
'The Old World' then 'Khul' 'Allansia' 'The islands of Titan'
Then if I can face them
'Sci fi' 'The Leftovers'
I think it could be interesting just to see the continuity (and lack of) concerning each continent.
Anyone else done something similar? - or can you think of any other 'themed' marathons that would be fun?

By author could be interesting, to see how the more prolific FF writers developed or deteriorated over the years.

Both suggestions sound good to me.

Just finished the Sorcery series - fun as always! I'm making detailed notes and drawing wee maps. I'm going to pretend the book 'Titan' doesn't exist and see how much of the the Old World I can piece together using the maps found in the gamebooks and in the relevant text in each book.
This got me thinking - how big is Khakabad? If it takes two weeks to traverse it (bearing in mind some of that was in a town)- having checked wiki - that would make it roughly the size of Wales! - anyone agree/disagree?
