The Land of Changes – wow a sequel! Cool idea, plays a lot like a Zelda style adventure (change in seasons/brownings = gorons). Problem is, there are many errors and very few areas to explore. For 200 sections, this is a very short adventure. Basically there are around five-six encounters that change slightly based on your choices. Some of the clues and hints are very misleading for no reason. Very narrow path to victory, but minimum stats will win it (Luck 9+ is recommended though). You start with:
- Sword. - Backpack. - Take Potion of Fortune (2 Doses). - 5 Meals.
- Use both doses of the Potion of Fortune immediately (+2 Initial Luck). - Tread cautiously, aware that your noisy progress will attract the attentions of any large creatures nearby. - Hide, hoping to encounter the trappers. - Remain hidden. - Step out boldly. - Stand your ground. - Follow them. - Enter the village. - Knock and wait to be invited in. - Do as she says. - Test Luck. Success = Mark of True Sight. Fail = Partial Mark of True Sight. - Take Horn. - Restore 3 Stamina and 1 Luck. - Take Diamond. - Take 2 Food. - Take Tiny Knife. - Approach it. - Wait to see what happens (+2 Luck). - Cross the glade to the other side. - Use a knife (+1 Luck). - Take Crown. - Enter. - Fight Sk 10 St 10 Redcap for 6 rounds. - Test Luck. Fail = Death. - Take Tooth. - Restore Skill, Stamina & Luck to Initial Levels. - Give her a tooth. - Have your heart’s desire. - Swear. - Take Orb. - Take Ball of Yarn. - Choose ‘Z’. - Give it the Orb. - Keep it with you for future use. - You have the crown. - You tell Gether of the quest laid upon you by the Moss Maiden.
