Hello everyone
It's certainly been a while. I've been working on updating the 20ish-year-old solution maps for some of the Fighting Fantasy books, and I think the results are pretty good, but I'm looking for feedback from other gamebook fans. The maps are vector graphics (SVG) but since I don't think it's possible to embed fonts into SVGs, I've attached a PDF of the two maps covering Firetop Mountain, which should help anyone still stuck in the Maze of Zagor.
Any thoughts?

No interest? How about these for Creature of Havoc?
These have been slightly revised over my original line-drawings and are hopefully easier to follow now.

These are cool! Love the ghoul shaking its fist.
It might be useful to give some indication if an object is necessary to gain access to a room. Like in Warlock, you need the keys from the werewolf's room to get to the boathouse, but that wouldn't be clear from looking at the map.

Your maps are prettier than mine!

I'm really liking these too. Nice touch that in CoH the underground one is greyscale but the overground (wombling) one is full colour.

Thanks, guys! I should probably clarify that I couldn't draw if my life depended on it; the images are mostly found via Google or DuckDuckGo image searches. Any colourisation of them is my own work, though. I have a backlog of these complete, I just keep going back to revise ones I've already done with updated ways to do things. Hmm.
Talking of colourisation, see the Starship Traveller one in particular.

I'll have a think about the best way to convey that (made a note on my memo pad!) while I'm working on my current map ( Space Assassin).

I am a'maze'd that you actually took the patience to do Zagor's maze. I was never quite sure wether it actually made any sense at all. Hats off!

Very cool! Really enjoying these. My own maps when Im playing are usually all over the place as Im trying to leave room everywhere because you never know what direction will branch off next. As a result I usually have my whole map on only half the page in very tiny writing! I often think about going back to re-do them once Ive finished so I have better documentation but maybe I will just print these off instead. Great work!

How could I watch them?

Any software that can open PDF files will display them. Adobe Acrobat Reader will open them, which is free software.
Here's a link to my maps for Space Assassin, which is 3Mb. It should become obvious why...

Ah. it is an automatic download, not online viewing. Sound a bit risky.

There's not really anything risky about Acrobat Reader / PDF files. That said, I've just remembered that PDFs can be viewed natively in some web-browsers: Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge will both open and display PDF files, if that helps any (I just checked both). Not sure about Google Chrome or others, but they might also be able to display PDF files. And for today's trick, how about a map of Castle Heydrich from Vault of the Vampire?
