Hello all! As part of my College work, I've been tasked with planning a project that hasn't had much interest in the audio world. The idea that came to me was for interactive audio, and I came to the idea of an audio gamebook. I know that this has seen some development, even recently in Google's collaboration with Choose-Your-Own-Adventure, but it is still relatively unexplored. I was wondering if there are any indie authors who might be interested in an audio adaptation of their story - or if anyone has any advice. All the best

Hi Smithy,
Sounds interesting – what do you need and how were you planning to do it?
I started trying to make an audio (spoken – never decided whether sound effects would be involved) version of one of my mini-adventures, probably for a series of YouTube 'videos' (with static backgrounds) but it ended up on the back burner.

Hi Smithy, Sounds interesting – what do you need and how were you planning to do it? I started trying to make an audio (spoken – never decided whether sound effects would be involved) version of one of my mini-adventures, probably for a series of YouTube 'videos' (with static backgrounds) but it ended up on the back burner. Essentially, more or less as you described. I've already got some decent recording equipment, so recording dialogue wouldn't be an issue, I could also have sound effects where appropriate, time permitting. More or less al I would need is a story and the authors permission to use it. Technically, for my college project we don't actually need to produce a product, just plan out every facet of it, but personally I don't see the point in going through all that effort with nothing to show for it.
