First, they all come from Dave Morris brain.
I discovered quite a long time ago a Dragon Warriors wiki (sadly, the domain dragonwarriors.wetpaint.com doesn't exist anymore). Were included references to GD books, such as the city of Achtan, which is mentioned in GD 2 and GD4, and appears to be the capital of Kurland.
I've always felt that Golden Dragon books were taking place in the world of Legend, maybe at different times than Blood Sword series / DW RPG.
Any thoughts on this?

I think 'sort of' is the best answer. Crypt of the vampire does make reference to somewhere in Legend, I think, and the reprinted edition seems more like Legend than the original (although a bit more gothic). Castle of lost souls definitely 'feels' like a Dragon warriors scenario.
I don't know if Dave Morris or Oliver Johnson have actually said either way. But considering they were all written at roughly the same time, it sort of seems likely that one will bleed into the other.

When they first came out, unfortunately I only read a couple of the Golden Dragon Books, none of the Bloodsword and had not even heard of Dragon Warriors - I never even saw those books on the bookshop shelves. So their details are not burned into my mind like FF, Lone Wolf and Way of the Tiger and I cannot be much use in answering your question. I went on the Fabled Lands website and chanced upon this: fabledlands.blogspot.com/2016/04/last-of-golden-dragons.html(or google Fabled Lands "Last of the Golden Dragons") You'll get the background detail of Eye of the Dragon here, and it turns out it was originally not a gamebook at all but based on a Tekumel campaign. Rather than repeat what's said there I'll let you read it. If I find out more, I'll post it here.

I'm sure quite a few gamebooks were based on RPG campaigns in which the author(s) participated.
I remember noting that some of the more outré options in the The Legends of Skyfall books looked like the kind of off-the-wall action taken by the gaming group's resident nutter.
