Like Terrysalt, I'm concerned it's at least as important as the kind of change it is, as we have a say on whether the amendment, whatever it is, is retroactively applied, and I'm frankly concerned the decision will be made to go ahead regardless of people's views. I'm therefore organising a "people's poll" which you may vote in or disregard as your whim, at the same time as Greenspine's, and naturally via secret ballot.

I don't care too much either way, but since players might have chosen different actions in the past had they known these were the rules, I think the fairest answer is to score each run based on the rules that were understood at the time.

I didn't join until Week 5 (I missed the deadline for my run of Sky Lord and didn't want to play either of the adventures in weeks 2 and 3 as I didn't feel it worthwhile attempting adventures I knew little about or had no desire to play as I'd not get far or deliberately seek out the first instant death). If others choose to join in later weeks, they might be further disadvantaged by retroactive additional points being added - and if we are backdating points, surely anyone joining later should be able to get points for any attempts at books in earlier weeks, which would completely mess up the scoring.
At the end of the day, this is a bit of fun and in an effort to keep it as such, I would keep things as they are instead of trying to add more layers and backdating points. If the new rules are applied, do them from this week.

So, perhaps not the biggest turnout but it looks like we know how some people feel. Thanks
