Suggestion - new numbering for the Gamebooks

Wizard published the four Sorcery! epic books as if they were individual books in their "Series 1" book run in 2003/4, before Eye of the Dragon was published.

So... that would mean an alternative gamebook numbering as follows:

60 - The Shamutanti Hills
61 - Khare - Cityport of Traps
62 - The Seven Serpents
63 - The Crown of Kings
64 - Eye of the Dragon
65 - Bloodbones
66 - Howl of the Werewolf
67 - Stormslayer
68 - Night of the Necromancer
69 - The Port of Peril
70 - The Gates of Death
71 - Assassins of Allansia
72 - Crystal of Storms

"But wait, Sunil!" I hear you cry. "Where is Blood of the Zombies??"
Well, all I can say is that, because BotZ lacks SKILL and LUCK and has a completely different combat system, it is NOT a Fighting Fantasy gamebook. It may have been written by Ian Livingstone and have FF logos/labelling all over it, but it is NOT an FF gamebook!

I don't think this renumbering accomplishes anything other than letting you take a cheap shot at Blood of the Zombies. I'm not saying it doesn't deserve it but I think renumbering the series is going a bit too far.

Agree with criticism above. The Sorcery! series was reprinted, from a much earlier time, so it seems rather unfair to shove it in just before Eye Of The Dragon instead of the conventional way which was when it was first published. If it's because it's a series, you could say the same about Deathtrap, Trial and Armies, Warlock, Return to Firetop and Legend Of Zagor, or even City Of Thieves and Port Of Peril. And it throws up all sorts of things about any possible new Sorcery! book, as well.
   As for the 'original' point about Blood Of The Zombies. I don't like Blood either,  and it doesn't particularly have much in common with the FF universe.. There are lots of FFs where Luck is barely used (as has been recently mentioned, some don't give rules for use in combat), lots of non-gamebooks that are part of the FF universe. Gates Of Death has some fantastic rules for different weapon use in the back, proving awful books can be awful no matter whether or not they're loyal to FF.
