From TUFFF (April 2013)... I was bored at work so thought I'd try to list all the recurring characters in the main series that I could think of - so, off the top of my heed!! 1.) Zagor - 3 books
2) Yaztromo - 6 books?
3)Riddling Reaver - 3 books?
4)Astragal - 3 books
5)Sukumvit - does he appear in Trial? if so 2 books
6)Doctor what's his face from 44 + 48
7)The King from 41 + 47
Okay I'm stuck right noo - there must be others!!!

From TUFFF... Eric Rune-Axe from Phantoms is implied to be the man you can release from a cell in Warlock.
Bigleg appears in Forest and Caverns (and, regrettably, his son turns up in Eye).
Gillibran is in at least Forest and Temple.
Nicodemus is in City and Rogue. Judging by the illustrations, the one-handed ex-contestant from Deathtrap shaved, got his hand replaced and became a hotelier in Zengis (Armies), then grew another moustache, turned evil and became an Inquisitor in Zagor's service (Return), then shaved again, mended his ways, and became a subterranean merchant (Eye).

From TUFFF... Surely an apprentice to Razaak would see him recurring in EVERY FF book. Two Words

From TUFFF... The Resurrection of the Necromancer, the next book to be published by Ian Livingstone. I can totally see that happening now; Razaak resurrected by his loyal apprentice, none other than the famous Vagsancho himself. Can someone please phone Livingstone right now to tell him to write this most amazing story? Preety please? Or maybe a small email? Should do the trick. Speak in extremes, it will save you time.

From TUFFF... The correct decision in every situation would be 'ask someone else to tell you how to do it'.

From TUFFF... Wasn't the Riddling Reaver in four books? "The Riddling Reaver","Slaves of the Abyss","Blackvein Prophecy" and "Magehunter". Also, one might consider Ian and Steve to be recurring characters, if you go by their cameos.

From TUFFF... He's also the "monk" in The Crimson Tide. Did Steve have cameos? I know Ian has had quite a few but can't think of any Steve ones.

From TUFFF... Ah I see. Definitely a bit more subtle than some of Ian's ones though!
