I must admit that I was never intending to reveal to anyone here my true identity, but I feel that seeing I have almost decoded all of the original series, I might as well let you all know who I really am.
The truth is that I co-edited many of the original FF books over the 1987-1993 period. Many of the mistakes, errors and typos that people have run into over the years has largely been my fault, and for that, I apologise.
Over the past two years I have strived to atone for my sins, in a manner of speaking, by finding a viable solution for each book. I hope that my small contribution makes up for all of the typos you have (and haven't) spotted yet.
In my defence, you do not really pick up a lot of these errors when checking over the original manuscript, as you are not a gametester, merely a proofreader of sorts. Still, due diligence was not applied and I feel somewhat responsible for this.
Anyway, it does feel good to get this off my treasure chest.

OK, so I presume this is an April Fool joke, but playing along, who might you have been? I don't know the external history of FF well enough to work out if there is someone who edited the books during that period, and who they might be. One for Alex I think.

I am indeed Jake Summers. Here is rare footage of me having a bit of an argument with one of the other editors, Marcus.

In this my medium stage, I will say, about replayability - only the best FF gamebooks are replayable. I made an exception playing one other only because I wanted - Master of Chaos - and I ve got the confirmation - NOT GOOD ENOUGH, IT'S NOT WORTH IT, A HORRIBLE WAISTE OF TIME. HAVING SAID THAT, I WOULD SAY ONLY ABOUT TEN BOOKS ARE REPLAYABLE, NOT MORE.

60+ FF books in series. Only about 10 are replayable. Big fan right there. Plays Crypt of the Sorcerer 10 days a week and House of Hell on a blue moon.

I always felt nostalgic with that tavern in the beginning of Chasms of Malice. not a very good book, with a lot of serious flaws, but I always felt a strong identification with the storybook.
