Happy New Year everyone! Hope you've all had a great Xmas too.
Now that celebrations are over, I'm looking forward to what the world of Fighting Fantasy has to offer this year. More news of the Deathtrap Dungeon movie perhaps? Or maybe we will finally hear news of a revised version of Knights of Doom in development, or even a completely new gamebook? The dungeon crawl card game 'Fighting Fantasy Quest' in the making already sounds like a fantastic idea especially as we'll get to see more of Russ Nicholson's artwork. The sooner it can reach our waiting hands, the better.
As for myself, for this year's resolution, I'm attempting to Finish All The Things I've Started (or FATTIS for short). I've had many FF related 'projects' to date and they've all been great fun. But there's also been many that I've started and have yet to complete, so I intend to rediscover these projects and finish them. These being:
An Adventurer's Tale - this was my very first FF project that unfortunately fizzled out after writing In The Footsteps Of A Hero due to other projects getting in the way and life in general. It was meant to be the first of 4 adventures expanded to 100 sections each.
Deathtrap Dungeon sequel - I've actually written over 300 paragraphs of this but a clash of ideas for the conclusion made me drop the project altogether.
Artwork for From The Shadows - something I may or may not get round to doing but has been in my thoughts a good long while.
Less serious:
Finish reading You Are the Hero - yes, I'm embarrassed to say I've not completed this one either. It's a great read so far, but I've been reading other stuff too (mainly all 8 book in the Way Of The Tiger series).
Now I'm not saying they'll definitely all be covered but it's the thought that counts and a good incentive to contribute something to FF.
Please share your own thoughts and ideas on what you'd like to see from Fighting Fantasy in the future (who knows, maybe someone out there can make it happen - fingers crossed) and any plans you may have in contributing to the world of Titan (and beyond) this year.
