Yeah, it's got me thinking too. Do you have 'You are the Hero'? Have a look at pages 14 and 15 - WOFTM went to Puffin after the powers-that-were at Penguin rejected it. Also note that the Sorcery! series was initially marketed as for adults.
I actually do have that but was saving it for when I completed the series. Which means I probably wont get to it for a bit. lol. I will check out those pages though thank you. I noticed there is also a "You are the Hero Part 2", do you have this one also and if so is it worth getting?
As for Ian's new book Id like to see a return of the Gonchong. Always struck me as a pretty horrifying Alien-like baddie.

Yes to both, though I prefer the first to the second. It seems to me there was clearly a great deal of information and material collected by Jonathan Green in his researching of the first book which makes its way into the second, plus it covers a number of perhaps more recent developments such as FF Fest, Scholastic Books, fandom in general, Inkle's games and of course Fighting Fantazine.
Saving YOU are the Hero for when you finish the series? You're missing out! Are you worried about spoilers for certain books? - they're surely easily avoided.

Thanks again I will definitely pick that one up as well! Yeah I was trying to avoid spoilers and also having other people's opinions of the books (if he even gives them) influence my own before I finish them. I try to avoid the threads on books I haven't read yet for these reasons also.

Caverns and Cityport are now showing on a large South American river. Interestingly they have a 4 September release date rather than the April release date we were led to believe.

The release dates shown on Amazon aren't always reliable. In any case, I just want to know when Steve and Ian's new books are coming out.

What other books do you think will be released?
Sorcery 3 and 4 seem likely but with what other books? Starship Traveller? Sword of the Samurai? Crypt of the Sorcerer?
Does anybody have a rough idea?

No actual knowledge of what's planned, but I'd welcome a properly fixed Spellbreaker. It wouldn't even take much work. - Make it possible to visit the shrine after the market.
- Establish who gets the first move at the game of Eclipse.
- Add the surrender option at the south gate of Hallows Well.
- Improve the odds of passing the second Ordeal in Tallow.

I do not know if anyone watched Inhumans but one of the worlds was called Analand.

I've just noticed that those dice have the same number on every side. Fix!

Talisman of Death - a very, very, very good book. Top 5. Feel the desire to play it again.

I fear it will be all about starting off with pieces of string, a hairdryer and a lawn mower while finally you need the correct toothbrush stamped with a number which relates to some obscure reference in Warlock.

LOL! I think I may actually be looking forward more to the reviews of it on here than the book itself.

...Livingstone is a sensible guy and would never do such a thing.

Beautifully positioned for maximum disappointment now.

I wonder if the Bays will make a return. I also wonder if thats an infinity stone on his forehead. Ian would call it an eternity stone of course.

The News page of the Fighting Fantasy site informs us that Robert Ball has taken over the internal illustrations and you can see his picture of the Gates of Khare sulphur ghost. So it looks as though the illustrations might not all be just reproductions of the original art. Maybe.

Talisman of Death - l have felt and I have won this book today. It is absolutely amazing. The storybook is fantastic. This is a very, very good book, even better than city of thieves. Talisman of Death is not a top 10 in FF books, it is undoubtedly a top 5!!

I have it ranked second only to House of Hell in my playthroughs so far.
