Actually, Sukumvit is already inked and will be incorporated in the book, even if we know him well. A bit of fanart isn't bad at all. Amusingly, I remember having read your detailed description when I was searching about him ! And it helped me quite a lot. DD first paragraph illustration doesn't exist in french translation (we had many illustrations missing in french FF books) and I discovered how Sukumvit looked like years after, when searching artwork from Iain McCaig on Google.

What a nice story! I'm still looking forward to the Spider Snake though (fingers crossed).

I may have a try tonight and make a timelaps video of it ! (oh btw, I tried to translate "House of Pain" months ago and your writing style is really high but hard to translate well, so I gave up for the moment)

Section 4 with Skeletons looks better as first illustration. Let's remove 349 and find something from the end of the story such as 310...

Valgan Shar in the ritual cave (17)Reaver's Festival in Blacksand (93) 17 : Putting Valgar at the beginning may spoil too much. In FF books, ending scenes are illustrated near the end most of the time. I can try to pencil Yaztromo at section 1 ? 93: I avoid penciling scenes with many people, such as Reaver's Festival. Maybe section 90, with the female Lieutenant figure over the rocks ? Fair point. After a bit of juggling, how about: Skeletons (4) Mutant Goblin (57) Leaving Blacksand (89) King Salamon (136) Dark Elf riding Stag Beetle (179) Aliana's jewelry shop (198) Spider-snake (270) Sukumvit (293) Dragon Couser (351) Valgan in ritual cave (385) OR Skeletons (4) Mutant Goblin (57) Leaving Blacksand (89) King Salamon (136) Dragon Couser (169) Aliana's jewelry shop (198) Spider-snake (270) Sukumvit (293) Boulder Beast (341) Valgan in ritual cave (385) Leaving Blacksand (89) can be a close up of a woman handing you a disguise (a mask or head wear) with the crowd reduced to faded shadows.

Just had a quick go of this and I'm impressed with just how fair it all is. An average character actually has a chance of getting through this one. Good to hear! I playtested it about 15-20 times as I was doing the editing (plus re-wording and extending many sections). My thinking cap was proper worn out by the end of it.

That's all sorts of awesome man! Probably your best one yet. In the adventurer I could never picture this thing as a functional creature, but this just shows how much the art can help set the scene. A fantastic job.

Did you know that the number 1 fear in the world is spiders? And the number two is snakes? So I guess that makes a Spider Snake the number ... zero? Bloody hell, imagine meeting that thing down a dark ally.

A question at section 332 : we light a desktop lamp. As there's no electricity in Titan (except magical one), how can we switch it on ? If it's a lantern or some kind of magic lighting artefact, we should be able to bring it as an alternative source of light, shouldn't we ?

Maybe the lamp is somehow fixed in place.

actually, we're holding the lamp at section 346.

Not sure what I was thinking when I wrote that. One of those errors I never picked up on despite having read that part numerous times. Maybe it's better to say you use your tinderbox to light the lamp on the desk or something to that extent.

But should we take the lamp as alternative light source which is important for thé rest of the aventure ?

Nah. The scene was not intended for you to take the lamp. You already begin with a lantern and there are various places where you can get another.

2 little questions : Can you describe the Eldritch Rod more precisely (size, material) because rod is very generic and can be translated into suite different items. Is the Skeleton Key the classic rogue's kit item or some special magic object ?

Is the Skeleton Key the classic rogue's kit item or some special magic object ? Rod is just another word for Wand but the two are essentially the same type of thing. I don't think it's described at all in the adventure other than it is used for dark magic. It can be a length of dark wood about two feet long, with silver lattice bands and a translucent stone at the tip. Or you can pretty much illustrate it as you please. The Skeleton Key is the rogue's tool - a key designed to open all sorts of locks. Not magical.

Only 2 illustrations left to do and cover (i'll have a try at the underground city lit by hundreds of lanterns). Re-reading is complete, laying out a bit for 120mmx180mm format (like mangas).

I got interesting remarks from pre-release readers, mostly about logics and gameplay. Here they are :
17 : Valgan's SKILL/STAMINA are boosted depending on how many places we visited, but that doesn't seem logical : it should be the portal itself which gets mighter during the time we travel, so Chaos Incarnate should evolve rather than Valgan. Even better, Valgan may get weaker as long as he uses power to open the portal.
17 during combat : could the Crystal Amulet be useful against chaos bolt ?
21 : can't understand why the master thief gives us a clue and then proclaims he has to kill us. He shouldn't have given us the clue. And his characs 9/10 are way over the other thieves, and there's no reason for that.
66 : maybe we could have a tiny chance to escape ? Test luck 3 times or roll a double... dunno.
143 / 261 / 378 : Harend's brother lives in a hut outside the city, right. But then, when we want to meet him it we first go to 378 inspect mines, which is unconsistent with the fact he lives way outside the city. I would add a code instead.
293 : killing Saw-Tooth with the poison is not mentioned, and finally that was not very useful because we have really tough fights in any case.
