This solution gives you the most desirable victory i.e. you not only deliver the gas but also save Sinclair. It is recommended you have a Skill of 11-12. Luck is used often and can save you a lot of armour points (Recommended Luck at least 10). This method avoids as much combat as possible, maximising your chances of survival.
- Drive out of the town.
- Drive up onto the highway.
- Fight Fp 8 Ar 15 Red Chevy. Vehicle combat.
- Go east.
- Keep driving east.
- Keep cruising east.
- Fire a rocket at the pile. (-1 Rocket).
- Let them get away.
- Drive south to Rockville.
- Test Luck. Fail = 2D6 Armour Damage.
- Chase after them.
- Fire a rocket at the farmhouse (-1 Rocket).
- Get out of the car to investigate.
- You free Sinclair (+1 Luck).
- Search the general store.
- Take Canister of Petrol (+2 Stamina).
- Search the nearest house.
- Open the door on the left.
- Take Wire Cutters.
- Leave the house.
- Drive off south.
- Head east.
- You have a fuel canister.
- Sleep the night inside the Interceptor (+2 Stamina).
- Release an oil spray (-1 Oil Spray).
- Roll D6. On 6 = Test Luck (do not lose Luck point).
- Success = Fight Fp 9 Ar 20 Armoured Car. Vehicle Combat.
- Fail = Fight Fp 9 Ar 20 Armoured Car with -2 to your Firepower for this fight (-1 Stamina). Vehicle Combat.
- Turn right to head west.
- Drive down the rough road.
- Drive through the gate.
