you lost me at 'divine' force. good luck fighting him in Hard mode. Razaak Skill 12 Stamina 50. i have no doubt the belief in your dice rolls will enable you to succeed.

50? I'm confused. I thought it was 20?

it is. i was suggesting that if Vags didn't want Razaak altered in any way, Skill 12, Stamina 20 would probably be on Easy mode whereas Stamina 50 in Hard mode would keep him happy so as to not despoil the greatness of the R-man.

A mere 50 stamina wouldn't satisfy vagsancho on Hard mode.Probably 13 skill and instant death should you lose even one attack round ought to do it.

I'm pretty sure that vagsancho considers section 125 of Crypt to be the book's actual 'win' ending. If you have to fight him to make him turn you into his undead servant, you're not trying hard enough.

I feel a Chuck Norris style meme coming here. I'm guessing breathing the same air as Razaak is sufficient to kill all living being. There is a reason why the R-man (love this) stays hidden in a crypt; it's because he fancies ruling over subjects in Allansia instead of a barren wasteland.
...wait, can Razaak even breath?

I do believe that Crypt of the Sorcerer will be the next one in Android. I explained Tin Man about the importance of, without changing it, apply to Android these 3 tremendous books: Crypt of the Sorcerer, City of thieves, and Deathtrap Dungeon. Yesterday i've got the answer that one of those three is now in proccess. I do believe it is Crypt of the Sorcerer. Its possible that the good man Tin Man could be someway influenced by my arguments about the divinity of this book. My serious thanks to him.

Even with his immense power, even with his limitless power, even with his miraculous power, would you change your own place by Razaak's place? Would I? Would anyone?

If it made you look like an old, decrepit mutant skeleton: never. I'm pretty sure Razaak doesn't have any mojo. I like mine right where it is.

I dunno, do I get to run Malaysia like Razaak does at the moment? (I assume that's an old photograph.)

I see a resemblance, but it's mainly because humans tend to come with a skull underneath their facial skin.

I've read/played it recently and I've lost near the end cause I didn't found the identity tag with the number. :/ The path to victory is so God damn narrow and hard.

I have the wish, still in this life, to come back and walk again throw those Moonstone Hills. to meet Razzak one more time. to see, one more time, all that prodigious strength he contains in his eyes. I hope to do it, still in this life. I hope.

Unless you've lost your copy of the book, replaying it shouldn't be a problem. Well, rereading it. Replaying it will be trickier because of the absurdly excessive difficulty.
And if you have lost it, there are copies on eBay for under a fiver.

On that note, I don't dislike anyone here or wish to cause any trouble, I just have a weird sense of humour.

The Wizard version of this book is worth much, much less than the original version. The original cover represents a significant part of the Essence, the tremendous Essence of "Crypt of the Sorcerer".

This Book has the most spectaculaire Front Cover of all the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks.

I do agree that the original Puffin cover is one of the best. It was always that one which caught my eye out of the ads inside the cover of FF books for other FF books.

Yeah the Puffin one is very sinister. The Wizard one looks like it should be for a book entitled Mad Green Leper on the Rampage.

I can't really imagine many publishers going for that title - although it does avoid the 'something of the something' cliché.
