I think he's running out of steam. How can you read your books when the pages stick? I'm off to Titannica and get all of my info from there and make it seem like I actually read the books.
But mmmm just the thought of someone peeling a banana or washing a cucumber while reading a FF book is a turn-on.

Unforgettable. That Moment of the Transfiguration of Man in Devil. The common became extraordinary. The banality became Madness. I remember. Part of me felt that I could only win - kiling him, part of me felt that i could only win - dying. I remember.

I have a feeling that if I wrote a 3 section adventure including all of Vags' favourite words, he'll also be impressed.

Just do it! What are you waiting for? It will be magnificent, and the Tin Man will probably want to publish it next, and it will be a huge success, bigger than Star Wars combined with Marvel combined with Potter combined with Jurassic World, Titanic, He-Man and most likely everything else ever created in this world and the next except perhaps for Supreme Razaak.

the thing is, if i did that, i'm not sure i'd want that kind of obsessive fan begging me to write a sequel right up to section 6. actually thinking about it, i definitely don't want that to happen.

Things that some people say are good 1. home made soaps 2. gardening 3. Fighting Fantasy
Things that some people say are bad 1. a bleeding ear 2. religion 3. Fighting Fantasy
When I was a little girl I showed House of Hell to my aunt who took it, looked at the cover, and said 'this book belongs to the devil' and handed it back to me. She then said 'it shouldn't even be in my house.'

Nah, she's a devout Catholic, I wasn't even allowed to bring in any more of them to her house. Should've brought her Skylord instead.

House of Hell. Strange book. Strange Energy. When I think \ feel this book, I really feel that my feet go out of this "our" reality in which we briefly live. This would be certainly the other book with a note 10, if it were possible to see the whole spectacle of the Human Sacrifice by the way of "Success." Note 9. Magical.

Imagine seeing Vag doing Tai Chi in your backyard!! Every quiet and flat place is a good place to train\to feel feel Tai Chi Chuan. For me, if charismatic, even better.

Well, do you have to roll above or under 3 to fail? I believe failing would be crucial, in this case.

How is it possible that God have put us in a world without magic? It is so unnatural. Life gained a special meaning when I watched his transfiguration.

I did not only see the evil in this book. Not only by eyes. I felt it in my heart, The evil is palpable in this book.

Borderline off-topic, but an anecdote that advertising guru Dave Trott told on the radio recently reminded me of the discussion about intrinsically evil books here, so I thought I'd repeat it. (Quoted from memory so not word-for-word accurate.) "There used to be books which went round the office. At one point we were all reading The Exorcist. This guy came back from his holiday and said: 'That is the evilest book I've ever known. It's just brimming with evil. I couldn't stand it. I just took it and threw it off the end of the pier.' "Anyway at lunchtime I nipped out to a second hand book shop, bought a copy of The Exorcist, ran it under the tap, and slipped it into his desk drawer when he wasn't looking."

I think it is best to post here about Champskees solution. I think the 'logic' and the app are correct where you have to fight the Hunchback to be able to say you 'met' the Hunchback earlier.
I agree you need 9 Fear as I do not believe in 'magical' insight.
I also agree with the stats that it is a +6 attack strength bonus as this brings the book into line with Citadel or Forest.

Fantastic book, was every bit as good as I remember from my youth. Having said that, I do have a couple of ambiguities that are both mentioned by others above:
Im not sure I agree about the needing Fear 9 although Im willing to have my mind changed. On my attempt at the password I hadn't met Shekou so used process of elimination on the four options and was correct. (I picked up on the fact that Murder was an anagram for Drumer). I then took the same route every time to get the Kris Knife because obviously it worked and thus avoided the trap door business. Is this then cheating? You are also given the option to go down the stairs to get the knife, and then head right back up again. Otherwise, the trap door should have been the only way to get down there.
Ah the Kris Knife. Mentioned many times here in fable and song so I will just say that if this wasn't meant to be an attack strength bonus then the book goes from fantastic to kind of ridiculous. Knowing the exact route to take but still only having a 5-10% chance of winning is stupidity. Still, Id feel better about it if Steve actually said someplace that this was intended to be an AS bonus. I have a first edition, was this ever changed in the later editions? Did he ever mention such in an interview? I have to believe some fan asked him this in the last 34 years! If not does anyone have his email? I will ask him! lol.
As another quick note, there sure seem to be a lot of luck points that can be picked up even though you don't really need them. (Until your final battle maybe but you will probably still be at your maximum when you get there in any case so the luck bonuses are kind of wasted)
