I thought Jimisbest's Father's Day themed thread was pretty cool, and so I've come up with my own Independence Day themed thread. The game is to name one or more Fighting Fantasy hero or gamebook which might have a pro US independence theme, if you want, you can be amazing and name one or more with pro British themes, as well (or instead!). For example, Magehunter has a Prince who is depicted as arrogant, but not heartless, so could be either Amerophile or maybe pro Canada. Chasms Of Malice has YOU role-play the descendant of a monarch and so is maybe a touch Anglophile. Vampire Fighting Fantasy and Keep Of The Lich-Lord has a hero supporting peasants against a harsh aristocracy and might be pro US.

Keep Of The Lich-Lord has a hero supporting peasants against a harsh aristocracy But then the hero is working for the Triumvirate of the Varadian Alliance who are the overlords of Stayng Island (the British?) while Mortis represents a local elite trying to throw off their shackles (the Americans?). Albeit I don't think George Washington converted masses of colonists to the undead to build his army.

Agree with you there, most Americans won't like you bringing up the founding fathers's massive slave empire, but I'm pretty sure they didn't use undead slaves!

The Silver Crusader, obviously, just the thing for George W Bush's desires.

Am I wrong in remembering Merzei, from Black Vein Prophecy, being interested in fomenting a revolution to overthrown the oppressive colonial rulers of his land?
