Hi All, Apologies if this has been covered before.
I've got the Puffin and Wizard versions of Curse of the Mummy.
Are there any difference in the gameplay between the two books?
I'd rather play the Wizard version to conserve the Puffin version
Thanks

There are indeed, so much so it affects the gameplay as I believe Champskees notes in his boxes in the relevant solution thread.
A number of new errors are introduced as well, unfortunately:
To me they seem annoying rather than game-breaking, with only one reference linking error, and the (few) others technical (some even say it's justified the sorceror loses Skill after he casts the fireball, because it was a powerful spell). I would prefer the simply challenging difficulty of the Wizard edition over the heavily old-school original.

Thanks Charles, I avoid the solutions as I didn't want to scan through and learn to much about the book. I'll have a go at the wizard edition.
