This is the most difficult one for me it seems! At present I can only bring myself to vote for 4 titles

I'm just glad that it's in batches of 20, not 10, because I don't think I can even vote 2 out of the 41-50 range. 4 of my 5 comes from the later 10 books.

I think 41-50 is easily the strongest range of books for the series. If that's so, I think 60+ is the weakest range. We've had some strong FF from Jonathan Green and definitely not forgetting SOS and SOTG, but we've also had Gates Of Death, Blood Of The Zombies, Crystal Of Storms and Eye Of The Dragon. They could leave Sky Lord and other sci-fi FF standing! Most sci-fi FF has been over-criticised imho. Most sci-fi are enjoyable in distinct ways, with Sky Lord being easily the weakest but not totally charmless (humorous, challenging, original, but still a bottom half gamebook in my opinion).

I would argue 40-49 is the strongest 10 book run.

Problem with least-favourite is it doesn't distinguish between works you find frustrating but like. Magehunter is a very worthy addition to the FF series but just because of its linearity and unambition in scope relative to some FFs people may vote against it, in spite of its originality, world-building, writing etc.. I don't think my deep hatred for Spellbreaker is shared by others though (because if you can overlook some linearity and difficulty, it's not bad. Which I personally can't).

I don't feel there is any problem. How much you like a book is completely up to you with whatever criteria you feel applies. It doesn't matter if the book is praised by everyone else. If you don't like it; vote it down. Its worthiness or importance in the world of Titan shouldn't be a factor. Creature of Havoc is one of the best in the series and while I agree it is very well written and put together, I don't really like it for its insane difficulty and complexity. On the other hand, Black Vein Prophecy can be incredibly frustrating but I love how intricately woven the overall story is. The two adventures are frequently regarded as similar in plot and presentation but generate very different views. Decide whether or not you feel the drawbacks overshadow a book's strengths and how much you enjoy reading/playing it in comparison with the others and the choice should be easy. Remember you are voting for your personal least favourites and not which books you think are best or worst.

Magehunter is a very worthy addition to the FF series but just because of its linearity and unambition in scope relative to some FFs people may vote against it I would consider Magehunter one of the most ambitious books in the series to be honest. As for linearity, there's loads of paths through it but it does have a very narrow path to success. I wouldn't consider that linear, but I agree that many might not care for such a design.

I would say it was very much ambitious in terms of world-building but there's something about it which feels underwhelming, if that makes sense, but that might be my personal preference for very epic-style FFs such as Jonathan Green works, Island Of The Undead, and Steve Jackson. Several sci-fi FFs are quite ambitious in terms of their original worlds, universe and rules but are decidedly wanting in gameplay terms; Magehunter seems wanting to me in terms of both a traditional, adventurous feel (something Ian Livingstone does well) and having a high difficulty level doesn't really help either. Possibly epic might have been a more preferable word than ambitious but even then I'd tend to agree with Kieran's counterpoint.
