Enough people voted here that I'm going ahead with the remaining stages of the poll. So far the eleventh and thirteenth of the yet-to-be-randomly-selected titles have been voted best. But what of books 26-75 on the list? It's time to eliminate the worst of them before going on to determine the best of the best.

When the whole polling is completed, will it just be a list of numbers or will the gamebook authors and gamebook titles be revealed? Would anyone else be interested in (doing) a separate poll on which of the two Clash Of The Princes gamebooks is best?

Obviously, once the voting is over, I'll be using a randomiser to determine which book is in each position on the list and publishing the results. Otherwise, this whole series of polls would be meaningless.

This has been a very entertaining joke. As a joke it seems to be working better than I wrote in the O, Fair Poll thread where I suggested it might be more likely people would disproportionately vote for say the middle numbers as well as the starting one and the last one, because insead only two numbers were voted for by two people. I've no idea whether this trend will continue but if it does (or half does, or even if it doesn't) it will rather take the wind\piss\mick out of those netheads who get angry and obsessive about gamebooks.

I suppose I am a bit passionate and obsessive but I try to give reasons. If other people give reasons about something that leaves me mystified at least they have thought about the issue whatever it happens to be.
