I've decided to play Night Dragon for the 1st time in at least 10 years
The problem is when generating my characters stats I rolled A 6 for Skill but when rolling for Stamina I rolled A 2 and A 1 or 3, which gives him Stamina of 15 and when rolling for Luck I rolled A 1, which gives him A Luck of 7
Even though Night Dragon lets me boost my characters Stamina by +2 and his Luck by +1 I still think its hopeless but am I wrong?, is it possible to beat Night Dragon with A Character that has Skill 12, Stamina 17 and Luck 8

In the solutions thread Champskees has a 98.6% chance of success for the lowest Skill 12 character (Stamina 14, Luck 7).
So if you find or know that golden path through your character should walk it.

Here we go again. Skip all combats and treat them as being automatic victories if it worries you that much.

Agree, this is doubly concerning because (a) you can tell chance of success just by looking at Champskees solution thread (b) you shouldn't be worried about failure if you rolled up such a strong character on this forgiving, moderate FF. Not that I'd dare suggest you would re-roll Skill to get the maximum possible * cough *.
