This is Part 2 of my series of polls on the interior art in Fighting Fantasy. As per request I am removing all alternat Scholatic Illustrations from future poll. They were always just a joke and maybe I will do a seperate poll for you to vote on the best set of Alternate Scholastic illustrations. This will be harder for me as no Iain Mcaig illustrations to instantly swallow 2 votes. Luckily Martin Mckenna appears now.
Enjoy choosing your 5 Favourite.

Again very worthy FF are deprived of my vote because 5 is not enough, so HM to Star Strider, Beneath Nightmare Castle and Trial Of Champions.
By the way as this is a poll of interior illustrations - do you plan to do a poll on covers, which might be interesting to compare Puffin and Wizard as well as Scholastic?

It was among my ideas and I think I will do it after this. Though as there are so many versions I might have to allow more than five options.

I feel Stealer of Souls artwork gonna be massively underrated.

I find it incredibly amusing that the 3 sci fi books in this poll are the only ones with no votes.

I can't believe Phantoms of Fear isn't completely dominating this poll!

I can't believe Phantoms of Fear isn't completely dominating this poll! I for one am not a fan of the artwork in Phantoms as I dislike the confused tangle of lines that dominate it and how difficult it is to work out the pictures sometimes (I must also confess that the cover almost entirely put me of the book when I first saw it.) I can understand why people like it, but it didnt get my vote. I prefer Mckenna and Alan Langford.

This set was easier for me to settle on 5 picks than the previous poll. Loads of honourable mentions of course, but am a big fan of Ian Miller's Phantoms of Fear (although i reckon the puzzle at 309 could've been better integrated into the illustration!), Martin McKenna's Vault of Vampire and Dead of Night, and Alan Langford's Creature of Havoc and Battleblade Warrior (and Portal of Evil too but it didn't make the cut).

Phantoms of Fear 3rd? Really?

Phantoms of Fear 3rd? Really? Probably primarily because Creature of Havoc is more well-read. I wouldn't rank Vault Of The Vampire 1st, but the illustrations definitely convey an old, dark, dangerous atmosphere.
