I have decided to start a second series of polls based on the Cover Artwork. The polls will be in groups will be split into 10 gamebooks and will include all Puffin, Wizard and Scholastic varients of cover art. I will not however be including a seperate porthole version of cover for Scholastic or Wizard 2 if they have an ordinary one. I have seen somewhere that there were full page cover art for Scholastic 7 -12 and you can look at those when voting on them. I have decided however to stick with my standard 5 votes for simplicities sake. Feel free to voice your opinions and give reasons why you choose the ones you do. Have fun choosing your 5 favourite!

Thank you very much for this, but it's so hard to distinguish between whether I'm voting for the gamebook rather than the gamebook cover, and whether I'm voting for the cover that's 'best' or most beautiful. Things like nostalgia and the memory of whether a gamebook cover inspired me to perhaps buy\read\rent a gamebook are probably a factor, rightly or wrongly. Never mentioned my gamebook choices so -
Battleblade Warrior - Very colourful and adventurous. Slaves Of The Abyss - Other-worldly and intelligent. Portal Of Evil - Paints a fantastic, vivid picture. Vault Of The Vampire - Very dark, European and escapist. Dead Of Night - Simple and amazing.

Battleblade Warrior is my favourite FF cover. It's so vivid and lush.
Garish as it is, Sky Lord is quite fun.
Stealer of Souls has a cool hooded figure. I'm quite weak to cool hooded figures. Plus, I like the colour scheme.
Daggers of Darkness deserves a vote just for how ridiculous it is. Plus, technically it is well drawn - the detail on the tigers is particularly good.
Dead of Night is very atmospheric and striking. Pity the demon's left hand looks a bit weird, but it's still more than good enough for a vote.

Battleblade Warrior's cover is fantastic, but in a way I hate it as when I saw it I expected another Island if the Lizard King, but it falls well short of that.
I find Portal of Evil cover is dull, there's no energy or action in it, surprised to see it beating Sky Lord which is far more dramatic and colourful
