I have decided to start a second series of polls based on the Cover Artwork. The polls will be in groups will be split into 10 gamebooks and will include all Puffin, Wizard and Scholastic varients of cover art. I will not however be including a seperate porthole version of cover for Scholastic or Wizard 2 if they have an ordinary one. I have seen somewhere that there were full page cover art for Scholastic 7 -12 and you can look at those when voting on them. I have decided however to stick with my standard 5 votes for simplicities sake. Feel free to voice your opinions and give reasons why you choose the ones you do. Have fun choosing your 5 favourite!

I'll repeat Misomiso's link, again, from the first poll, which can be used to view the Puffin and Wizard covers for the books in this poll. www.fightingfantasycollector.co.uk/book_covers.htm
Having only owned a couple of these as a lad, I'm less familiar with the cover art, so It'll be fun considering them all without nostalgia and the quality of the gamebook itself subconsciously affecting my choices.
Here is the one Scholastic cover in the poll, which is incidentally the one book on this poll I own:

Master Of Chaos Legend Of The Shadow Warriors Siege Of Sardath
The covers are as awesome as the gamebooks.
Keep Of The Lich-Lord
Looks distinctive.
Crimson Tide
Looks foreign and fantastic.

I’ve never had this close a look at the Legend of the Shadow Warriors cover before.
The bandaged hands, the scarecrow rags, the rope belt, the pumpkin heads, the casually held blade, the rain, the long grass and the pool.
I love it. 🎃

First four picks are easy enough: Master of Chaos - cool beastie Keep of the Lich Lord - very menacing The Crimson Tide - no idea what the heck it depicts but I like it anyway Return to Firetop Mountain (Les Edwards) - love how the monsters pouring out of the mountain are creatures you can meet in the book rather than just generic monsters
I'm struggling with a fifth pick: Black Vein Prophecy satisfies my weakness for hooded figures but it's ruined somewhat by the 'Ta-da!' hands Legend is technically good but it looks a bit too Real Ghostbusters for my taste Spectral Stalkers really suits the book but on its own, I'm not really sure I dig it Tower of Destruction and Moonrunner are perfectly serviceable, Tower being slightly better Siege is fairly dull I don't like McKenna's RTFM. The Ball one probably would have been decent sans porthole.
I'll go with Tower.

This was an easy batch for me. Keep, Legend, Siege, and two of the three Returns (you know which ones!)

Only picked 3. Shadow Warriors has always been a standout for me. Also went for Moonrunner and Les Firetop Mountain. Not too fond of the others really.
