The Great Amateur FF Titannica poll! The letter T

This is a poll covering in alphabet order all Fighting Fantasy amateur FF. There are about 160 amateur FFs, conveniently about 80 in each half of the alphabet, so each poll will cover a few letters up to around 20. YOU will be able to vote for up to 5 if you have heard of, played, like or love any of these adventures, with the intent being to choose our favourite half, few, and very favourite amateur FFs, along the way we can discuss these adventures and what we like\dislike about them. Each poll will be for one week.

   The Dead World, The Golden Create and the Hypertrout have pics besides their Titannica entries. I like birds, so I've voted for Tales from the Bird Islands, even though I've never played or seen it before.

There is a woeful lack of consistency regarding titles that start with the word 'The'. This may be an issue from Titannica, but regardless of where it originated, it’s a bit of a mess.

The Beggar from Blacksand, The Black Lobster and The Bodies in the Docks are in the A-B poll, but The Beast of Skull Rock is in the T poll, and the same kind of arbitrary "File this 'The' under T, file that 'The' under the first letter of the next word" shenanigans persist throughout the polls.

Arrangements of most movies, books and other things tend to drop the very heavy article "The" (although "To" etc. are more applicable) and its use seems especially inapplicable in the 21st century where sorting titles that way seems half as old-fashioned as "thee" or "thou". I hastily copied directly (albeit faithfully) from Amateur FF in Titanicca rather than allow for what Greenspine rightly describes as shenanigans.

I'm unsure what can be gleaned from polls where 2-6 people vote, nor where people may have read few of the gamebooks or be voting for gamebooks based on riding off coattails of big names as a moderator says or whether people are voting for their own gamebooks. However with just three votes Tales From the Bird Islands seems to have most votes, FWIW.

   So thanks to the tiny number of people who voted, if a moderator 's cynical interpretation of these polls has some truth about it.
