I have a idea for A Valentines day themed topic and as I may be too busy to post it on Valentines day I'll post it early
So I want us to all reveal what we think would be the 6 best villainous romantic pairings from Fighting Fantasy Books
You can do 1's from different settings that could feasibly be in the same universe and on the same planet, for example Yurr from Blood of The Zombies with The Ice Queen from Appointment with Fear but they can't be 1's that are from incompatible settings
Here's mine
The Archmage on Mampang from Sorcery with Morgana The Witch from Masks of Mayhem
Ritcher The Vampire from Vault of The Vampire with The Snow With from Caverns of The Snow Witch
Naas The Dark Elf from Master of Chaos with The Dark Elf Priestess from Assassins of Allansia
Captain Bloodaxe from Deamons of The Deep with Miriel The Red from Bloodbones
Sige The Silent from Slaves of The Abyss with The Sorcerer from Siege of Sardath
Senyakhaz from Beneath Nightmare Castle with Zarradan Marr from Creature of Havok

I don't see why romantic pairings houldn't be from different planets and universes. I've got visions in my head of entire Star Trek\The Orville episodes that are a lecture on why they are unproblematic. <pedant> Technically your first one should read Masks Of Mayhem not Masks of Maybe. Katarina Heydrich with Lord Mortis I don't see why they should only be villains either, unless that's an elaborate take on Valentine's Day being paganist. Nastassia and - the hero. That works . Edit: Not sure where their moral compass is if someone would raise an undead army to conquer a world but wouldn't have a mistress in the manner of a European.

Katarina Heydrich with Lord Mortis Lady Lotmora is displeased that anybody should attempt to hook her husband up with "that Mortvanian hussy".

Sorry about saying Masks of Maybe, I wasn't paying attention
As for why it has to be villains not heroes its because theirs a lot more villains then their are Heroes

While Balthus Dire already has a spouse, he really would profit from a liaison with the Snow Witch. If there is absolute need for his biography to include the code to his private quarters, that page should at the very least include a death spell upon reading.
As "Turn to 400" showed the similarity of "Seas of Blood"'s quest to a reality show, I bet Baron Sukumvit and Abdul the Butcher would make a good pairing, if they were inclined toward same sex relationships.

Given there are man-orcs, garks (goblin and giant), doragars (orcs and trolls) and not to mention ape-dog and dog-ape found in Citadel of Chaos, I get the feeling titan is a kind of 'anything goes' type of place
But trying to be clever about a match...
Lady Webspinn and Master of Spiders

Kind of stealing paperexplorers idea, Maybe the Mistress of Birds and the Master of Gardens Now also trying to be clever: Cardinal Zyn would make a good Father, being a priest, while Akharis would be a great Mummy!!! Maybe Morgana and Orghuz, it just seems suitable.

I'm struggling to think of (female) matches for Zagor. Because there are few female characters in FF and even fewer bad girls\guys. Cassandra from Talisman Of Death? I'd probably say Cassandra would go for it if the money were right. Actually it wouldn't surprise me if Cassandra later planned to assassinate Zagor. I believe know this disregards jmisbest 's op they both be from the same world-universe . Pre-empting a moderator "but she's a common thief!", she is also a very-high grade thief and a good-looking one. Probably a step up from the 100-odd year-old crones on beauty magic Zagor would normally date (Neil Gaiman's Stardust, anyone?).

Does it say something about FF we've already gone through most female leads, albeit just evil ones? Probably not. Zanbar Bone (apt surname) with Ulrakaah from Gates Of Death.

Zagor tried the dating scene but all the women he would date were just after his gold. He tried to give it away, but the women kept chasing, such were his riches. Eventually he got so sick of all the women chasing him for his gold he hid atop a mountain, locked his gold in a chest requiring 3 keys to open, then distributed those keys randomly in the mountain just to make them hard to find, then used magic to appear like an old man. All this to avoid women! So please think of poor lonely zagor this valentines day, a man too rich to find true love

Also, given they both love trying to rule over kingdoms in Khul, a hook up between Ostragoth the Grim and Meghan-na-durr seems inevitable. In fact, I hear he is sending a corpse of one of the select to her as a valentines gift. What a romantic he is!

I can see Karam Gruul hitting it off with Katarina Heydrich. An interest in living past their natural ages, a lust for power and a quirky use of magic with a special focus on mind-control... there are things that bring them together.
Katarina could get seriously obsessed with the Skull of Mora Tao. Whether that's a reason why she and Gruul would meet, something they would fall out over or both, I'm not sure. Perhaps Gruul would be happy to have someone looking after it so that it doesn't fall into the 'wrong' hands.
Since the possibility of Zanbar Bone dating has been mentioned, perhaps people will excuse me pointing out that his dating profile is one of those on this thread. New members may not have seen it.

Struck by the description of the Cangui as '...like an impossibly beautiful Mudworm' (TCT 319 with thirst trap pic at TCT 64), I wonder whether the two slithering wonders might hit it off...?
The Mudworm would be charmed by the silky embrace of the Cangui, as well as impressed by her enchanting abilities. Conversely the Cangui would be struck by the awesome unarmed combat skills the rugged Mudworm displays in hand-to-handless segment fighting.
You feel that together they would be nigh on unstoppable. Perhaps they would sweep aside opposition in righteous conquest, finally bringing a glorious era of invertebrate monarchy to the once troubled Isles of the Dawn.
