Books that fall outside of the main series.
I'm going out on a limb here and assuming if you own one of the sorcery books, you own all of them. If not, please comment below!

No Adventures of Goldhawk?

I have never owned any of them. Though if I had found a Wizard set for Sorcery! for a massive discount, I'd probably have bought it.

No Adventures of Goldhawk? Is Advanced FF worth a bar? And the novels maybe, and the 10th anniversary yearbook?

No Adventures of Goldhawk? Is Advanced FF worth a bar? And the novels maybe, and the 10th anniversary yearbook? Bookmarks? Fan club adventure sheet? Starlight? A tissue Ian Livingstone once blew his nose on? In all seriousness, I'll take any further suggestions and do another poll, if it's warranted.

First four. Also Titan, Out Of The Pit, and You Are The Hero, but that's pretty much it for me.
Other gamebooks?
All 3 Cretan Chronicles; Way of the Tiger 1-7; all 5 of Jonathan Green's ACE gamebooks; and Dave Morris & Jamie Thomson's 'Can You Brexit?'. (23/3/22: Edited to Add 'Nightshift' and 'Behind The Weeping Walls' by Victoria Hancox, and 'You Are A Cat!' by Sherwin Tjia.)

All six, plus OotP, Titan, the three AFF books from Puffin, YATH, the 10th Anniversary Yearbook, The Adventures of Goldhawk, all thirteen issues of Warlock magazine, the three issues of White Dwarf containing The Dark Usurper, five novels (I'm missing two of the Zagor Chronicles), and over 300 non-FF gamebooks.
For somebody who practically quit gamebooks in the 1990s, that seems like a lot.

Yes, that is a lot!
Ff books , I am missing all the zagor books, 3 & 4 of the Goldhawks, allansia & casket of souls. ( though I really want them!)
Don't have any of the magazines ( though not too fussed aboot them!)
Runs off for a quick count--
I have 38 non ff gamebooks
( and 15 Osborne puzzle adventure & 6 choose your path picture books if they count)

.... and over 300 non- FF gamebooks. One word: awesome! You've got them all on shelves around the house or are some in boxes? Are there any books you are still after?

All on shelves. And there are still some gamebooks on my want list, even if I ignore my completist tendencies when it comes to certain Lone Wolf titles.

This conversation has prompted me to update my collection on gamebooks.org: gamebooks.org/User/78/CollectionNot quite as big as greenspine's but pretty respectable.

I'll keep an eye out for the Endless Quests you're after when the charity shops open up again. But they are rare. You tend to have and collect older books, or are you interested in any of the newer ones?

Cheers about the Endless Quest books - but yeah I'll probably have to sell a kidney to complete that series! I occasionally get one of the newer books - I have Mark Lain's new series, one by Victoria Hancox, The Demon Sorcerer, some of the Ace Gamebooks etc. I'm definitely a bit more choosy than I used to be though. I pretty much don't buy any older books these days unless I come across a bargain. I recently sold some that had just been gathering dust so I figure no point competing for books on ebay that I probably won't get round to reading. Endless Quest is probably the only exception though I wouldn't mind a couple more Grailquests if I see them going cheap.

A bit surprised there aren't more readers who own Tasks of Tantalon. It's not a gamebook as such but it contains puzzles that gamebook reader normally enjoy and it's solution to victory is brilliant (as always from Steve Jackson). Plus it's very cheap and easy to obtain too.

Maybe that's why I've not bothered. But as you say, and from what I understand, the puzzle solving should be quite rewarding. Plus it's set in gallantaria, which thanks to Stephen Hand, is my favourite country.

Fairly non-plussed about Casket of Souls too, but at least the art is amazing.

I'd say Casket of Souls is solvable without help. Tasks of Tantalon is much harder but the reward is in the challenge which I enjoyed more despite not being able to completely solve it by myself. WilfIt pops up now and again, especially on the Facebook FF buy/sell group. Paperback is commonly seen at £5-£10 posted so doesn't hurt the wallet.

I'm terrified of buying a "cheap" copy and finding it has pen marks or something that reveals the solutions. I've been looking for one that is excellent condition but not expensive.
