How about we each reveal 2 FF Books we hate for things that aren't their fault and what those reasons are?
Legend of The Shadow Warriors because it was the favorite FF Book of a bully that was both violent and mentally unstable that picked on me for almost 4 full years but I never reported him because he made sure I could never proof it and he made it clear that if I ever did report him he'd make sure that he got away with it by accusing me of being racist
Legend of Zagor. You'll know from some of my older posts that I love this book, but I also hate and the reason that I both love it and hate it is because the day it was released was the 6th anniversary of when my mothers grandfather died

I've always loved Citadel of Chaos but I hate it because I fell out of a plane whilst reading it.
Dead of Night is another fave but it brings back bad memories because my English teacher tried to sacrifice me to the devil the first time I read it.
Moonrunner is very good but it will always remind me of the time when I read it on the 17th occasion because that was the exact time when I was savaged by a hedgehog.

Like it or not, and you clearly don't like it, but even though even I acknowledge that the reasons why I hate these books seem impossible to believe they are true whilst its so obvious that your so-called reasons for hating 3 FF Books are false that I don't think even Putin of Russia is daft enough to believe them

Growing up one of my (secondary) schoolmates spent 5 minutes reading The Warlock Of Firetop Mountain reference one for his book report (including the choices). I don't hate him for it but interestingly the school praised his 'original' reading while hating people reading socialists, homosexuals and atheists. It's best not to judge people based on what they read or don't read. Such as The Qu'ran (don't go there๐).

If this forum gets trashed by Russian hackers, I will hold you partially responsible.

Sorry no disrespect meant but clearly some taken

In 1935 whilst I was reading Space Assassin Mola Ram tore my still-beating heart from my chest while I was trapped in a cage suspended over a pit of lava.

That almost happened to me too, except I managed to escape using my trousers as a parachute.

Your post was a bit forward and nasty.
I have two books that I hate for things that aren't their fault.
Talisman of Death is a very nice book. However, when I read it for the 34th time, I realised that I had dropped a splodge of hot dog mustard over reference 47 sometime during a previous playthrough.
Chasms of Malice is a perfect book in every way and very easy to complete honestly. However, the day I purchased it was also the day that my Aunt Fanny decided I should wear "Huggies" pull up pants to save on toilet roll.
In a coincidence larger than the time I found a fossilized dog turd and then realised it was quite fresh the toilet used by Troy which exploded after Chunk and Sloth interfered with the plumbing was the same toilet used by Avon after something or other
Thank And Thanka

If the author (Philsadler is my guess) stopped after the third paragraph, possibly even the 4th one, I might have believed it was real. Monkeystoe would reckon these two posts were a bit forward and nasty. Perhaps he should get an account to stop these fake posts, because they aren't coincidences larger than time.

I am not Monkeystoe, but I almost wish I was. We've reached the point where we can no longer tell an authentic Monkeystoe post from one of yours. Congratulations - you've passed the Turing test ๐.

I bought Battleblade Warrior when it first came out, from WH Smiths. I paid my money and the sales assistant put it in a paper bag.. but as she did so the rear cover caught on the bag and rather than stop, she just kept shoving it in .. and what do you suppose happened? She creased it.
Brand flippin new and now with a crease, and there's me too young and shy to say 'I think I'll have another version of the book now, thanks.'
I'm looking at the crease now. It runs from the start of the ISBN bar code to the Steve Jackson signature.
That stupid clumsy cow.

Am I wrong or am I the only person that realizes that this is a genuine topic and its not meant to be made fun of?
Like it or not, and I'm assuming no one else like's it, but my reasons for hating 2 Books, 1 of which I also love, are serious and actually did happen
Saying that though I will admit that if I wasn't the 1 they'd happened to then I wouldn't believe them either, so I do understand. But this is a genuine topic

It's a trivial and irrelevant topic, encouraging gratuitous negativity.
And now it's locked.
