I've just thought of a very big flaw with Canus's Plan to humiliate his brother in Trial of Champions. Your thoughts?
The idea is that his slaves will fight to the death until only 1 is left, the survivor will be healed back to full health then made to enter Skumvits new Trial of Champions
The problem is that Canus does not know how long it will take for all but 1 slave to die, nor does he know how long it will take for the survivor to be restored back to full health
Combine that with the fact that he has no way of knowing if a storm or some other disaster will delay his arrival means that he has no way of knowing if he'll arrive in time for his brothers new Trial of Champions
Making it even worse is that they didn't get their until early evening the day before the competition, which means they came very close to missing his brothers new Trial of Champions

I think an even bigger flaw in the plan is that the player character has virtually zero chance of making it out of the dungeon even if everything else goes according to plan.
His name is Carnuss, BTW.

I suppose if he missed the deadline he could try again next year. But yes, the plan had many flaws - he should at least have given his slave some provisions if he wanted them to win!

The problem is that Canus does not know how long it will take for all but 1 slave to die, nor does he know how long it will take for the survivor to be restored back to full health Being able to choose the contests in the arena makes it easy to kill slaves to a schedule, especially with the number of 'x slaves go in, only one gets to come back out' challenges. As for healing time, ever since The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, it's been established that a Potion of Strength can take a person from their last Stamina point up to full health in an instant. If wandering adventurers such as the heroes of TWoFM, TFoD and CoT can get their hands on such potions with ease, a man of Carnuss' wealth and power isn't going to struggle to get hold of one. The more serious flaws in the plan are 'sending a woefully ill-equipped champion in, rather than kitting them out with at least some basic equipment' and 'horribly mistreating the slaves during the process of elimination, so the survivor is liable to want bloody revenge'.

I remember someone pointing this out a while ago, but it really makes no sense for you not to have 10 provisions and a potion like you do in Deathtrap Dungeon, particularly as Carnuss wants you to win.

His name is Lord Carnuss, and he has a surname, as well. I get the sense Lord Carnuss has a different personality to Baron Sukumvit, more cruel and hate-filled. What was he thinking when he sent his slaves into his trial-thing? Treating them like s**t, then sending them to a trial tougher than his brother's with no reward, who can 'look forward' to another trial after that, where even if he is successful Lord Carnuss will take the prize. And he just sits in the front row of the audience. I don't remember the ending, just how he stupidly goes along with the crowd and your wishes to take him on.
