Got this for fathers day. First chance to play it today with my son.
For those that don't know it, the gist of this board game is to cooperate with your fellow players to escape a dungeon.
The dungeons rooms are realised with very Knightmare looking pictures, with reference numbers on various points of interest which you can examine once per turn.
There is a book included which you read aloud from when consulting the various references.
Items can be found and collected and can also be combined with other items and also locations (which was a tricky thing and resulted in me using a 'hint' as we were stuck ( which means I lose a point)
You also have health points which can be lost, but you can't die, so they are only important for totalling your score (health points are added to your score at the end of each chapter)
Anyway, basically it feels like a cross between a game book and a point and click adventure game. The first chapter took us nearly an hour and a half to complete so we have 'paused' the game for now.
Pretty sure most of you here would enjoy this kind of thing!

I own this game. It's really only good for one playthrough as you'll know the answers to the puzzles the second time around but it's fun while it lasts. There's a second game in the series called Monochrome Inc which plays about the same but has a corporate espionage theme instead of a fantasy one.
