Has anyone here played any of them? They've released 4 so far so they must be selling well.

Does anyone know where we could find solutions to these?
The books look interesting.
Many thanks

I have the first one. It was quite good, but very boring to replay as it was so linear.

I was a huge fan of Usborne Puzzle Adventures and I (incorrectly) thought Usborne Adventure gamebooks were 'just' a large book of picture puzzles strung by a narrative like the original. I'm full of questions - how big is it, does it have an attribute system, does it have a combat system, does it have puzzles, is it well-written, is it well-illustrated, would you recommend them, are they all the same or are some for example more replayable than others, are they very kid-orientated and non-playable for adults..?
< takes breath >
Or I could buy\rent one and find out myself .

I reviewed the first one in issue 17.

Would say it was aimed at the same audience as Fighting fantasy.
It's been ages since I've played it, but you have to 'gamble' how long it will take to win a battle, and if I mind right, it was tiresome

I reviewed the first one in issue 17. Is the review online anywhere? :-)

I reviewed the first one in issue 17. Is the review online anywhere? :-) Issue 17 is available to download here. The review is on page 97. (I presume it's not online anywhere else.)
