From TUFFF (July 2012)... Nobody knows what will happen after death... Imagine this: After you die, yes, die for real in this life, if you could chose one fighting fantasy to live as the main character which one would you choose? A lot of responsibility in that decision... who really knows if after death, your wishes don't come true? Which one would you choose? Razaak's apprentice

From TUFFF... Interesting question. I could say Starship Traveller, because I know how to win that one, and as it can be done without using dice, I wouldn't have to worry about random mischance bringing me to a sticky end. The Forest of Doom isn't that difficult, and ends with lots of money and new friends. Plus, I'd get to humiliate an arrogant muscle-bound lunk along the way. I might have a shot at Island of the Lizard King if I could be assured of decent scores (and a chance to befriend the young lady from section 350).A similar argument could be made for Vault of the Vampire, if Nastassia's not spoken for. The ultimate fate of the hero in Slaves of the Abyss is pretty epic. Surviving that far would be the tricky bit, though. Then again, the chance to drive giant robots and punch dinosaurs gives Robot Commando a certain appeal.

From TUFFF... This is a weird question. I don't know. Beneath Nightmare Castle? The more beautiful and pure FF is – the more satisfying it is to corrupt it.

From TUFFF... I would choose HOUSE OF HELL! But I do now want to imagine the horror I would have (or I will have...) to face if I didn't have the capacity to be successful... Razaak's apprentice (I think that 'now' may be a typo for 'not'. But then again, I'm not completely sure...)

From TUFFF... But if in the last moment, I didn't have the courage to choose house of hell, I would choose Deathtrap Dungeon. Razaak's apprentice

From TUFFF... Robot Commando, on the basis that (a) It's in the future so you'll have more history on which to look back, and (b) It's a piece of cake.

From TUFFF (August 2012)... I choose Trial of the Champions , I always like the premise of arena fight, even if I could die more easily.

From TUFFF... I would choose HOUSE OF HELL! But I do now want to imagine the horror I would have (or I will have...) to face if I didn't have the capacity to be successful... Wow, I think if the question were exactly the opposite, that might be the one I'd pick... Can you imagine having to live through that once you die? Wow. I suppose you would at least be in present day Earth... Trial of Champions would be pretty horrendous too I would have thought! I think I would have to pick Appointment with FEAR. I'd definitely have to re-read the book a hundred times before I died though.

From TUFFF... Demons of the Deep might be pretty good too. I like the idea of swimming around under water meeting mermaids and the like. Plus, there are plenty of ways to survive that book.

From TUFFF... The Shamutanti Hills. I envisage myself building fires, cooking rabbits, slaughtering goblins in little caves... I'd be satisfied with that, ignore the adventure. Just hang about in the wilderness having picnics. ~ Vae Victis! ~

From TUFFF (Feb 2013)... A lot of responsibility in that decision... who really knows if after death, your wishes don't come true?....which one would you choose?
This makes me wonder whether some of the books' authors had a similar idea in mind, and this is why some of them have otherwise pointless endings in the middle along the lines of '...you have decided not to take on the 100 foot long acid-breathing dragon and instead open a tea shop. Y.A.E.H'. It's good insurance if as an author you're afraid of getting trapped in your own book.
Scorpion Swamp is a good one for that:
You have a magic ring. Do you want to sell it to Poomchukker? Yes. You are now rich. To stay more in the spirit of the question, of the books I've read I also quite fancy Demons of the Deep. Chat with mermaids, learn to raise the dead (sort of), have fencing lessons with a swordfish, ride around on dolphins and then go to port with at least an armful of treasure. It's not a particularly heroic mission though - just a matter of personal revenge. Quite tempted by Vault of the Vampire for that reason - more heroic, but still not too many torturous deaths with a reasonable chance of winning and heading home to permanent hero status in a now peaceful village with a pretty girl (and a kick-a**e sword, just in case).

The world of Orb and our own world.. I wonder.. Which one from those two is the more real world? I see the portal between them and i can not stop wonder that. In a first moment this one could appear to have more reality, but when the illusion disappears and i see the only one second that we live in this world, i imediately, start to wonder.

The world of Orb and our own world.. I wonder.. Which one from those two is the more real world? I think it is perfectly possible that both have the same reality. Because it is perfectly possible that the Creator has created these two different worlds with the exact same levels of reality, for his enjoyment.

I do not know why, but i feel that - after death - some may go to Heaven, some, to Hell, others, can maybe reincarnate in who knows what, but I truly feel that - after death - i will be redirected to an existence in some kind of a way of a Fighting Fantasy book but within a degree of a slightly higher reality compared to this exixtence.

Someone who believes mind and matter are two distinct substances as opposed to mind being derived from matter (the physicalist stance) or matter being derived from mind (the idealist stance). Not sure the thick as owl excrement comment was necessary, there are lots of smart dualists.
