Sultans of Rema is a worthy addition to the GA range, but it does have a few flaws. In terms of design, it is simply too forgiving. It plays like a CYOA at times, until the final encounter, where there is a mandatory difficult fight.
I have provided a solution for a minimum Fitness character using the Orange Turban path. The genie path/eye of namir is of merit, but you really need to make (and fail) a couple of Fitness rolls in order to stand a good chance.
Start with:
- Dagger (2 Offence).
- Simple Fabrics (1 Defence).
- 20 Indars.
- Letter from Grand Duke Fernando Orlande V.
- Backpack.
Orange Turban Solution
Recommended Fitness: Minimum is fine.
- Go with Faruq to find transportation.
- Head into a side street to browse some shops.
- Visit the weapon shop.
- You have something you wish to sell.
- Sell Dagger.
- Take 3 Indars.
- Leave the weapons shop.
- Browse some of the vendors in the central plaza.
- Visit a food stand.
- Take 4 Meals (-12 Indars, Restores 3 Vitality when used).
- Leave.
- Head into a side street to browse some shops.
- Visit the weapon shop.

- Set off across the desert.
- You did not purchase an item from Fazik’s Curiosities.
