Been playing Fighting Fantasy Legends Portal on my android phone recently.
Basically it is a visual interpretation of some of the ff books. The app covers Deathtrap, Trial of Champions and Armies of Death, which as we all know are linked to some extent. There is also another app called Fighting Fantasy Legends which proceeded it, though I haven't tried it yet.
For those who have read the books, these adventures are pretty accurate and follow the main story elements of each book. They do mix it up a little bit with randomised encounters which offers some fresh playability to seasoned adventurers.
The combat system is different. Basically your stats indicate the amount of dice you throw, each 6 counts as a hit I.e. A skill 12 character rolls 12 dice per round. Personally I dislike the mechanics of it but it is still acceptable.
These are paid apps, but imo they are actually quite fun and worth the 5 or so dollars they cost. Wondering if anyone else has had a chance to play with them?

As Nomad Games has made the effort to promote this to me on Twitter (which is pleasing – ad money on FF) let me pass it on... If you can't see the Tweet, the offering is the "Deathtrap Dungeon Trilogy" (based on DD, ToC and AoD) on Switch. I think it's mostly the platform which is new – the set of games sounds like it's what Champskees was playing a year ago on Android. (I've never played any of these things myself.) The story (which is not much more than that) is here. The video from the tweet is 30s long starting 50s in here:
