The Mummy grabs Murg by the arm in a crushing vice-like grip and uses its superhuman strength to swing him around like a rag doll before slamming him into a stone wall. Murg loses 2 stamina. The rest of the party attempt to take a swing, but Murg gets in the way of their attacks and no one is able to connect with the Mummy.

Round 3:

Talbion licks cracked lips then thrusts once more at the Mummy.

Frustrated to have had his blow diverted somehow, Jack swings his axe in a less dextrous downward hack.
Rolled 6 ––> AS of 14

Kradon stops praying and gets up:
"Mummies.. I hate mummies.. Disgusting dead things... "(and spits to the ground)

"In my age i can no longer punch like in old times anymore... So in each blow i give all of me.. All"

And kradon runs and throw all his body against the mummy, mercilessly.
(rolled 12. Attack strenght 18)

The Mummy smacks Murg straight in the face, opening up a cut on his right cheek. Murg loses 2 stamina. Despite their best efforts, the adventurers fail to penetrate the Mummy's well-preserved corpse. Even Kradon is caught up in the swirling melee, his wooden stick tapping the Mummy's hide. The exception is Prek, who manages to slip his blade just underneath the monster's skull, inflicting 2 points of stamina damage.

Mummy attacks Murg. Attack Strength 16.

"This foe refuses to go down easily. I'm not sure we should have made this bargain."

Somewhat half-heartedly, Talbion thrusts his spear at the mummy's eyes.

"Unless there's more than one Crystal Key in this place, I don't think we have much choice!"

"We've nearly got it. Just one more good hit." I focus and aim at its head again.

Murg keeps flailing about with the torch.

There's nothing like hacking a corpse to bits to make quite sure it's dead.

If it is dead, Murg will set fire to it with the torch.

"Burn in the Pit, undead scum!"

== Round Four ==

Jesus...
The Mummy grabs Murg and gets him in a stranglehold, choking the life out of him. Murg loses 2 stamina. Murg flails wildly with his torch, but to no avail. The other adventurers use this opportunity to take the creature down. It is still attempting to strangle Murg while it is being hacked, stabbed and sliced to pieces. A spear goes straight through one of its eyes, and it finally lets go of the barbarian, slumping in defeat. Murg wastes no time in setting the Mummy alight, and the undead abomination makes a final otherworldly howl before it is lost to the flames.

The mummy is defeated.

Before the mummy is entirely consumed by flames, kradon gets near it, and lights his cigar.
"Yes... I really needed this"

Inside the Mummy's coffin are 12 Gold Pieces & an Emerald (worth 10 Gold Pieces).

"I suggest we split the treasure equally between the combatants." Redric casts a slightly annoyed glance at those who did not participate.

"Seems fair. I suggest Murg take the emerald as he took the brunt of the creature's wrath and Redrick, Kradon, Throma, Prex, Jack and I take 2 gold pieces each."
