Murg eats a meal, don't exactly know what it is but he seems to be enjoying it. Cross off 1 provision & restore 4 stamina.

"I think it's safe to assume this mummy was the prince Nandras wanted us to destroy. Shall we return to claim the crystal key? Though I advise keeping our wits about us - I still do not trust that mage."

The east door is unlocked, so you have a look inside.




You arrive at a dead end in the passage.

I will search the far end of the passage for secret doors (7)

Check the north wall of the passage for secret doors (12).

Searching the passage thoroughly, you find nothing. The passageway is completely empty.

I used to know how to do an energy spell, but unfortunately i have forgot it."

"If you want to stay here and try to remember the spell, you are welcome to do so.
"I'm heading back to your good friend Nandras to collect the Crystal Key he promised."
Returns to the room and collects a handful of the Mummy's ashes in case proof is required.

You return to the empty chamber where you first encountered Nandras. After a few moments the enchanted room appears once again, with Nandras standing next to one of his bookshelves with a tome in his hand.

The adventurers recount their battle with the Mummy. After listening patiently to your tale, Nandras closes his eyes. When they open a moment later, he appears to be quite pleased.

'Well done my friends. I had my doubts about you lot, but I guess you solved my riddle after all.'

The party looks at him, nonplussed. Nandras stifles.

'You know, my hint about using the torch against the Mummy?' Nandras continues. 'Sorry to keep you in the dark? Get it?'

Still no response from the party. The wizard rolls his eyes and dismisses the conversation with a wave of his hand.

'Nevermind...anyway I no longer sense the prince's presence in his tomb, which means I can finally start to get things done around here.' He pulls out a small item from out of his robes and hands it to Throma. 'Here is the Crystal Key, as promised. Don't worry about returning it, I've made myself a copy already. I'll take those ashes too, if you don't mind...' He places the ashen remains in a nearby jar and nods to the adventurers.

'Until next time,' Nandras says, and with that, the room and the wizard both disappear once again, leaving only the Crystal Key behind.

Add the Crystal Key to Throma's possessions.

"So let us go on.
I vote to kill nandras if we see him again."

"Seems unwise, he clearly is a mage of significant power. At any rate, he kept his part of the bargain so I bear him no ill will.

"Shall we return to the dwarf's room then?"

"That would seem wise. And watch your tongue, old man. I suspect a battle between you and Nandras would not go in your favour."

"Yes, let's go back that way."

"Happy to return to the beardy titch.

"I've no hurry to pick a fight with a wizard, but I don't trust 'im! He's kept his own key, so he can go where we go and hornswoggle the treasure when we've done the heave-ho. And why'd he keep the ashes? What can a wizard do with the ashes of the undead? Keep your guard up if we see him agin.

"Mind as his best ploy for brawling near got Murg killed maybe we needn't worry too hard."

[champskees]

The adventurers return to the first chamber where they found Thrushbeard. He is still sitting there, eating his nuts. Now would be a good opportunity to eat provisions. Thrushbeard congratulates you on acquiring the Crystal Key, and wishes you well on the journey ahead.

The western door and the northern door leading out of this room are still both closed.

"I'm still not keen to try the western door so shall we give the northern one a go?"

"That would be my preferred course of action."

Kradon has a copper coin in his pocket and throws it in the air.

"Let us go north. I never let chance determine my destiny."
