I'm planning to do The Sorcery Books but I'm worries and I'm hoping to do A Wizard, but I'm worried, my characters stats are only Skill 8, Stamina 16 and Luck 8. Is my character too weak?

No, you should be fine. There's a few items to boost your fighting prowess in Book 1 and you can boost your stats a bit in Book 3.

You can make it through all the Sorcery! books with minimum stats.
And in what world is rolling a 4 for skill, low?

Understand that most of his characters are very close to maxing out every time.

I'm thinking of doing A Solo Fighting Fantasy Campaign and I have decided to make it unique by only doing The Books that I am unable to beat without using a guide, but I'm worried and I want a opinion. Do you think this is a bad idea for A Campaign?, in my opinion it depends on a mixture of which books I do, how good the guides for each book are and how much fun I get from each book, but I want and value of the opinions of other people, so please give them

That partly depends on what you mean by 'campaign'. If you're talking about taking one character through multiple adventures, then only playing the books you don't know how to win seems an odd way to go about it.
Mind you, as the books that aren't Sorcery! 2-4 aren't designed for characters carrying across a hefty inventory and/or stat bonuses from other books, I don't think such book-hopping is a particularly good idea anyway.

I have a idea for something that I think will be fun. Here it is. What do you think?
We will each choose 1 of our top 10 Villains from A Movie or Movies, 1 of our top 10 Villains from A Book or Books that isn't A Fighting Fantasy Book or Books and 1 of our top 10 Villains that is from A Fighting Fantasy Book or Books and then we will mention 2 mental conditions that we believe that all 3 of have
For 1 of my top 10 Villains from A Movie or Movies I go for Starscream as he is in The 1,985 Movie, for 1 of my top 10 Villains from A Book or Books that isn't A Fighting Fantasy Book or Books I choose Bellatrix Lestrange and for 1 of my top 10 Villains that is from A Fighting Fantasy Book or Books I choose Zagor as he is in Return to Firetop Mountain
When it comes to the 2 mental conditions that we believe that all 3 of have I'm going for Narcistic Personality and border-line Psychopath
The reason that I can Bellatrix Lestrange as 1 of my top 10Villains from A Book or Books that isn't A Fighting Fantasy Book or Books is because she isn't 1 of my top 10 Villains from A Movie or Movies but she is 1 of my top Villains from A Book or Books that isn't A Fighting Fantasy Book or Books

Yesterday I tried to beat Knights of Doom for The 1st time in more then a decade, I got to the part of Belagorths Castle that's got a puzzle that if you don't solve it you can't gain the knowledge that you need, I solved it correctly but by mistake I turned to the wrong paragraph, didn't realize and when I got to Belagorths Throne Room I suffered instant death, a few hours later I double-checked, realized that I had got it right but by mistake I turned to the wrong paragraph, so I restarted from the correct paragraph and won
But I've been thinking about what I did and because I try to always do gamebooks(not just FF 1's) honestly I'm worried, is what I did cheating?, my opinion is that since I got the puzzle right but by mistake I turned to the wrong paragraph that what I did wasn't cheating but I want and value the opinions of others

Alternative answer: you say you won Knights of Doom? You must have cheated somehow.

Alternative answer: you say you won Knights of Doom? You must have cheated somehow. Not really. Its mainly because in my opinion using a guide that I made I isn't cheating, saying that though as solving the puzzle is part of the challenge, which is part of the run, the guide that I made doesn't include the solution, I still solved it, but it took me roughly 2 hours, 14 minutes and I was lucky enough to pass both roughly 70% of all my dice rolls as well as all crucial dice rolls

Cheating would be if you didn't know the answer but just flipped through the book until you got to the right number (and if you think that makes me a sad cheat, you haven't seen the puzzle in Tower Of Destruction, which you'd need a PhD from a bad university to get right).

what is the puzzle in Tower of Destruction? the one where you move stacks between piles?

Probably either the one with the clock faces or the one with the musical notes. Both of which I (eventually) cracked without cheating or a PhD.

I was referring to the musical notes puzzles in TOD but the clock faces puzzles is almost as hard.

Being able to read music might help a bit with that puzzle, but when you get down to it, it's just another substitution cypher, only using characters other than letters. And if you've already come across the name 'Elokinan', that can give you a head start on matching notes to letters.

I've had A Idea for A Type of Fighting Fantasy Epic I've never done before. What do you think of my idea?
Its not A RPG as such, rather I simply use The Character in multiple Adventures and to make it interesting I'll only use adventures that weren't in the original 59

Don't just say what you plan to do. Do it first then say how it turned out. Then people can advise how it can or cannot work or maybe you'll even figure it out for yourself. Do not fear failure; learn from it and improve.

I've decided to do The 1st Sorcery Books and I've generated my character
I'm playing A Wizard but I have a massive problem. The problem is that I was lucky enough to fairly rolled A 6+4 or 10 for Skill and for A 6+5 or 11 for Luck
But when rolling for Stamina I rolled A double 1, which means my Stamina is the minimum of 14, Is my Stamina to low for Sorcery?

Why not just give it a go? The Analanders are stupid enough to send out a weakling across impossible country - without giving him any useful equipment or basic intelligence like "how to get out of Khare" - to get back the thing they managed to get stolen.

This raises a pretty good point I think someone else posted a long time ago. How do the percentages work over all the books amalgamated together? Does a 5/14/7 have a 1 in 2 chance of completing the whole saga or just Crown? To my mind a 1 in 2 chance seems reasonable.
